AI assistant for Servicios Informáticos

  1. Problem

    A B2B services company needed its website to generate qualified inbound leads.

  2. What I built

    Led end-to-end delivery of the corporate site (discovery, information architecture, design system and development) and an AI assistant built on Claude that answers visitors' questions from the site's own content and pre-drafts their WhatsApp message.

  3. Result

    The assistant is active for every visitor and turns questions into pre-drafted WhatsApp leads, one tap away from contacting the business.

AI-assisted assessment authoring

Blackboard Anthology · Prototype · 2020–2026

  1. Problem

    Instructors needed a faster way to build assessments targeted to a specific topic or class.

  2. What I built

    On my own initiative, a working AI feature powered by GPT that helps instructors generate questions from a topic or an existing question bank, improve their texts and get suggested grading feedback.

  3. Result

    A working end-to-end demo inside a platform serving 100M+ users.

Rosita Store platform

  1. Problem

    The business's original e-commerce site went down, taking its online sales with it.

  2. What I built

    A rebuilt e-commerce platform on new infrastructure, plus internal tooling and operational databases that automate the business's commercial processes.

  3. Result

    Restored the business's online sales.

ML segmentation for Sportlife

  1. Problem

    A Chilean gym chain wanted to expand customer retention.

  2. What I built

    A client-data-driven segmentation system with ML-based preference prediction, feeding a targeted-campaign system, alongside a full booking module and fingerprint access control.

  3. Result

    Retention campaigns targeted by ML-predicted customer preferences.

Easymail, as the sole developer

Fusepong · 2019–2020

  1. Problem

    A shipping-management platform needed a backend, a web back office and an iOS/Android app.

  2. What I built

    All three, as the only developer, alongside Fusecurity, a guard-post monitoring platform with push notifications and geolocation.

  3. Result

    Shipped in 30 days.

    Full-Stack & AI Developer · Technical Consultant

    • Built and shipped an AI assistant (Claude) for the Servicios Informáticos website that answers visitor questions from the site's own content and pre-drafts a WhatsApp message.
    • Rebuilt Rosita Store's e-commerce platform on new infrastructure after the original site went down, and built the internal tooling that automates its commercial processes.
    • Embedded agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code) across the full project lifecycle, cutting delivery time versus a traditional workflow.

    • Contributed to 50+ end-to-end projects on a global learning platform serving 100M+ users across 70 countries, owning scope, planning and full-stack implementation on the projects I led.
    • Designed and prototyped, on my own initiative, a working GPT-powered assessment-authoring feature.
    • Contributed to major improvements to the platform's Rich Text Editor, the core authoring component used by every student and instructor.
    • Became the team's go-to engineer for performance and accessibility (WCAG, Section 508), and turned both into everyday standards.
    • Promoted from Junior to Mid-Senior Engineer within the first year.

    • Designed and implemented ML-based customer segmentation (scikit-learn) for Sportlife, a Chilean gym chain, feeding targeted retention campaigns.
    • Shipped Easymail as the sole developer: backend, web back office and iOS/Android app.
    • Deployed and administered AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3) across three production products.

    I bring AI into products where it creates real value. On my own initiative I prototyped a GPT-powered authoring feature at Blackboard; today I ship assistants built on Claude, and I use Claude Code from spec to implementation, review and documentation.

    Five years building for a platform serving 100M+ users across 70 countries. I tested the performance of every project I delivered and presented degradation metrics in Definition of Done reviews.

  • Accessible by design

    I became the team's go-to engineer for accessibility (WCAG, Section 508), testing features with screen readers and turning best practices into everyday standards. This site scores 100 on Lighthouse accessibility.
